Foresight Sports GC2

The Foresight Sports GC2 (Game Changer 2) Smart Camera System is a lightweight, ultra-portable launch monitor, that utilizes two hi-speed, hi-def cameras to capture golf shot data; which is instantly relayed to the on-board data screen, or to a synced computer, smart phone, or tablet.

The GC2 measures 7 metrics directly from the golf ball: ball speed, vertical launch, horizontal launch, backspin, and sidespin rates and through that data will calculate carry distance.

The GC2 is portable, can be used indoors or outdoors, and can be connected to the E6 simulator software to offer a variety of training and teaching applications.

The base package includes the launch monitor, and the simulator software featuring a simulated driving range, as well as 1 course which can be played hole or hole, or used to practice shots from specific locations or distances. This setup is priced at $8,000 ($6k GC2, 2k E6 Software). Additional courses can be purchased in packages ranging from $400 for 4 courses to $1000 for the "Champions Pack" of 14 tour-quality courses. Brooklawn currently utilizes a GC2 Launch Monitor and E6 simulator software, connected to a T.V. for shot display in our indoor practice area. A computer, tablet, or projector can also be used for simulator display, allowing the user to fully customize the practice area to fit their space, budget, and teaching requirements.

The simulator offers multiple camera views of your ball flight, has specific modes for club fitting, and can save your performance data to analyze and compare against your future golf shots. These features can be extremely helpful with club fitting, as your Golf Professional can save and compare data from clubs with different specs or shafts, allowing the player to truly understand how different specifications can change their ball flight.

One of the strongest selling points of the GC2 compared to other launch monitors is its ability to accurately capture shorter chip shots, and even putts. This can be especially important when playing a simulated round, and gives the player the ability to practice their short game. Space requirements for the GC2 are also considerably smaller than whats required for a radar based systems (e.g. Trackman, Flightscope), which can require 8 open feet behind the player, as well as 13 feet of ball flight. The GC2 sits 6 to 8 inches away from the ball and requires just 2 feet of ball flight.

The "practice" mode allows the player or teacher to create custom targets at any distance in a virtual driving range, or to drop a ball anywhere on the "course" and practice that shot.
